Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2, 2026 · builder2.com
1. The service
builder2 is a media generation API: you submit prompts and parameters, and the service generates images, music, speech, video and related media, returning permanent CDN URLs. These terms govern your use of builder2.com and its API.
2. Accounts & API keys
You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and the requests made with them. Keep keys secret; revoke any you believe compromised. You must be able to form a binding contract and provide an accurate email address.
3. Quotas, credits & payment
Generation is metered. Plans carry monthly quotas (requests and/or credits); exhausted quotas pause generation until the next cycle or a plan change. Fees, where applicable, are described at signup. Prices may change with notice; notice periods for material changes to paid plans will be reasonable.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to create or distribute: unlawful content; content that infringes others’ rights; sexual content involving minors (or any content sexualizing real people without consent); harassment, defamation or targeted harm; malicious deception such as fraudulent deepfakes; or anything that violates the terms of our upstream model providers. Don’t probe, overload or attempt to disrupt the service or bypass quotas.
5. Your content & generated media
You retain rights to the prompts and inputs you submit. Subject to the licenses of the underlying model providers, you may use the generated media you create, including commercially. You grant us the limited right to store and serve your generated media at your permanent URLs — that’s the product working as intended — and nothing more.
6. AI generation caveats
Generated media can be inaccurate or unsuitable for your purpose. AI output may resemble existing works or persons; you are responsible for reviewing outputs before publication and for how you use them. Model availability and quality may change as upstream providers evolve.
7. Service levels & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but promise no uptime SLA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months (or $100, whichever is greater). Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten the service, or create legal exposure — with notice where practical.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. Material changes to paid features will come with reasonable advance notice.
